PrepareOC

County of Orange Incident Preparedness, Response and Recovery Program

PrepareOC is the County of Orange’s comprehensive incident preparedness, response and recovery program. PrepareOC has four main program components: PlanOC, ReadyOC, RespondOC and RecoverOC. These separate components address critical incident preparedness issues, including analysis and planning; public awareness; emergency preparedness and response; business continuity; and disaster recovery.

The goal of PrepareOC is to assimilate the County’s various initiatives into a strategic program that employs shared resources and efforts, critical communications, and a coordinated approach for County government, local governments and the County’s constituents.

The PrepareOC website is currently under construction. When it is complete, it will ensure that critical information is readily available to the people who need it on an anytime, anywhere basis.
